Super vacation!

Location, location, location. The World Golf Hall of Fame and several really nice restaurants, including Bill Murray's Caddyshack are a SHORT and pleasant walk down beautifully landscaped walks. There is a nice golf shop and the pool area is just outstanding. This is a golf lovers PARADISE! The pool is huge, the hot tug is huge and the grounds are extremely well-planned and clean. There's a great basketball area, a nice playground for youngsters, a volleyball net in the pool and a really nice, albeit small exercise room. The rooms have wireless internet (although it is pricey, it works well), and the staff was helpful. We had a problem with the wrong size unit our first night, but the general manager, Vesko, had it all straightened out the next morning and compensated us nicely with a couple of free golf rounds at a $150 per round course next door--you just couldn't have asked for better customer service!! The rooms are showing a little wear, but overall--a SUPER vacation!
Nearly St. Augustine has many great things to do--we recommend the ghost tours and the Old Town Trolley with The Old Jail. Don't use Smile High Parasail--they are very unreliable, but St. Augustine Beach AND Anastasia State Park are gorgeous beaches!! You won't be disappointed!
