Radisson Hotel Conference Center Rockford, Rockford

My husband and I were coming from Mayo Clinic in Rochester where he had had a total hip replacement two days previous. We were tired and looking for a friendly staff and a comfortable room. Both of these were found at this fine hotel. The desk clerk, Gayle Nelson, and the houseman, Wes Zink, did everything to help us get settled in a lovely clean room. We are so grateful to these wonderful people and this hotel. We want to return and enjoy thepool when he is recuperated. THANK YOU

My experience was horrible, Service was the worst I've ever seen. I would Never recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Rockford. The bartender would take frequent smoke breaks and not wash her hands. I am not a smoker and would wish to not have nasty ciggerette on the lemons put in my drink. I made a complaint and the management pushed it aside. It isnt worth a penny.

my wife and i were in town on business for 4 days. we were generally pleased,nice room and clean. i'm handicapped, and wear a prostetic leg, very obvious, in shorts. we had quite a bit of luggage. here's my issue. NOT one person offered to help us with our luggage, we loaded the cart, we took it to the room, and returned it downstairs. at check out time the SAME LACK of courtiousy was extended to us again. NO HOSPITALITY AT ALL

It was obvious I needed a hotel room, centrally located, for 1-3 months. After taking a "field trip" of the surrounding hotel I choosed the Radisson, which is also located just steps away from a bus line that will take you to and from the airport, downtown Chicago, etc. My first impression was the warm and inviting foyer with the same type of front desk staff; warm and inviting. The pub located inside the hotel, with "user friendly" staff, afforded me stop in for a bite to eat or a glass of wine (or two), especially on a cold or rainy day/night. This beats lonely room service anytime! Housekeeping staff was truly on top of their game. If I had my "do not disturb" sign on the door for consecutive days, they would give a friendly knock making sure all is well. Management was always present day or night and would always go out of their way to say hi or stop for a friendly, concerning conversation. I arrived at the Radisson as a guest and left feeling like I was "leaving home". Thank you Marcus and entire staff! Eileen

This was a very nice hotel like I expect of the Radisson chain. There was plenty of parking and the rooms were very clean. The staff was very professional and responsive

I stayed at this hotel 2/25/06 and not only was it dirty and smelled it was very over priced. The continental breakfast foods were stale, the pool too full of clorine, and towels were not provided. Over all I'd give this hotel a 1.. would I stay here again NO. Quality inn.. just across the street is generally 79.00 per night.. has a HOT breakfast and is always CLEAN

I've stayed here twice now while in Rockford on business and there were no positives and a couple negatives about my stays. Both times the yougurt on the breakfast buffet was expired, the first time by three weeks. Informing the front desk resulted in there being no yougurt on the buffet, not exactly what I was hoping for. The fitness center is a closet with an elliptical trainer, a treadmill, and an excercise bike (yes only one of each) crammed into it. Extremely cramped and extremely hot. Overall, I would have to think that there are better options available.

I've stayed at this hotel about 5 nights and it's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are clean, well let and all the furniture is new. The staff is very polite and helpful and is extremely clean cut and well dressed. I've stayed at many hotels in my life and this one really stands out as the best. When I'm visiting family in Chicago, it's worth the extra 35 minute drive just so I can stay my favorite hotel!

Our room was beautiful and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. (The only drawback is that the pool needs to be bigger.)
