Thin walls
THE DUXTON HOTEL PERTH- WA AUSTRALIA
We stayed in the Duxton Hotel for a conference. Its a short walk up the hill to the city mall for shops, cafes, restaurants and banks. The hotel foyer and entrance is pretty impressive with a lovely modern bar area to relax in with a few vinos. Rooms are the average hotel size with the usual modern facilities. Walls are on the thin side as having argument with husband and staff came and told us to keep voices down ......not even speaking with raised voices...so I'm wondering what other noises our next door neighbours heard after we made up !!!!
CONS: Close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Modern hotel with normal services. Good bar and swimming pool and spa.
PROS: Thin paper walls, unfriendly staff, pool in shade not good for sunbaking.
RECOMMENDATION: No - I think there would be plenty of other hotels offering more pleasant staff.
