Great little place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/09
We loved the location and size of the hotel. Our room was directly over the indoor/outdoor pool entrance and we never had any noise at any time. Very good. The service was dicey. There were some really great housekeeping, and doormen/handyman, but the front desk folks are lacking. Overall the staff was distant at best. Though in fairness they were having some maintenance issuse with water and the elevator at the time. They fixed everything quietly and quickly and it didn't bother us once. The hotel is clean and not too big among the monster skyscraper condos. It also had a great walking path out to the ocean and an umbrella service on the beach for a small fee.

Would Go Back
By joe, 02/25/08
We stayed between christmas and new year. Can not say enough about the high quality, of this hotel. The pool and hot tubs were great, clean rooms and beds. The price at under a hundred was more than fair. And since they were slow, we got a free upgrade to ocean side. I did not eat there, because of all the restaurants in the area. But I am sure it would have been fine for hotel food. I would stay there again, oh and the staff did everything they could for us. Like where we could get the best and cheapest fresh shrimp to take home to Michigan. The name of the store is Billy's a great place.

I liked everything about this place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/07
My wife and I just returned from the Hilton Garden Inn. This was a great place to stay. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was terrific. Our room overlooked the water and we had a wonderful time!

We'll come back now, ya hear!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
We just went for an overnight stay to Orange Beach, and I have nothing bad to say about the entire experience. NEVER have we experienced the overall satisfaction this City and Hotel offered us. Every person we encountered was super friendly and extremely helpful! The hotel was very clean. Very pretty. We spent quite a bit of time being entertained by the fish in the two big aquariums in the lobby. Our room was very spaceous, clean, and well stocked. The balcony overlooking the pool and gulf was great. Pool was great sized for the hotel and loved walking right out onto the beach. Breakfast was delicious and the staff in the dining area went above and beyond the call of duty. I was also very pleased that when we checked in a bit late on Saturday evening and inquired about a late check out, the sweet girl working in the lobby was only too happy to accomodate us. FANTASTIC! Cannot WAIT to return. We live in NOLA, only a few hours away, and plan on making this a new frequently visited place for us. WE WILL STAY AGAIN!

Best Hotel I have stayed in at Gulf Shores Parkway
By Donald R, 07/23/07
This place is excellent! The rooms are clean, the front desk is very helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. We were reluctant to spend the $250 per night, but in the end it was worth it. We will stay here again!

No Amenities
By Sherry Beth, 07/06/06
The room itself was quit comfy for the time we were in there. When you're at the beach, little time is actually spent in the room. Beds slept great! However, one would think a $300 a night Hilton would offer some amenities. No continential breakfast or anything. You could buy breakfast if you wanted. Would be much more improved if hotel offered paying customers something for their money besides a bed to sleep in. Could have gotten same type of room (and free breakfast) cheaper elsewhere. Give us something for our money, Hiltons.
