Not a good experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/09
Went for wedding. Reservations were all messed up. They were over booked. Did not get what we asked for. Hot tub not open on a weekend. elevator broken and dirty. Rooms need finishing touches. Molding missing, sinks not cut in suites, Breakfast was a joke, Shuttle never showed when we asked for it. They need new management.

Couldn't have been better!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/07
Was there for 1 week for Dad's 90th birthday in October. The room was huge, the view was great and the hotel staff was wonderful. We will be back!

Excellent sister's weekend getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
Sisters and I stayed for weekend getaway and staff did everything possible to let us have adjoining rooms (large group.) Great to have casino close by. Pool and hot tub area looked very inviting but never actually made it in. Excellent breakfast. This was our third or fourth year in a row staying here for our special weekend. Lots of fun!!

Wonderful service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
It was a great experience. I travel a lot and was very happy to find the room clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff was curteous and knowledgeable. And the Availability of resturaunts close by (in the casino) was wonderful. Even though Ameristar Casino is attatched to the hotel you would never really realize it unless you found your way over to the casino.

Poor Payment Policy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/05
After suffering through a bankruptcy, our family policy was never to use credit cards. Before our arrival, family friends reserved the rooms under their name, but the desk refused to check us in because we did not have a credit card. I was willing to provide them a cash deposit but that was not acceptable. Meanwhile, we had to wait for our friends to arrive so we could check in. My wife and I are gainfully employed in white-collar positions with three young children...This policy left a thorn in my side and we will certainly shop around before coming back.

Perfect A+++++++
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/04
I am so glad that I chose this hotel. I was considering some of the more expensive hotels on the Nebraska side of the river. This one looked so nice in the ad & the price was significantly less. I could not have been more pleased. The room was large, clean & quiet. The view of the peaceful river was right outside of my window. The staff was very helpful & friendly. And to top it all off, I could walk to the casino which was attached via enclosed walkway. There were wonderful little shops surrounding the casino as well. No question where I will stay when I go back again.
