Damaged Items

When staying at the hotel, we took our children to the pool, swimming. After about an hour I noticed that my swimming suit changed from a blue to a pink color and became translucent. My husband's suit changed from a black to a brownish pink color. The next day, upon leaving, I accidently left my pillow in the room. It took a week of unreturned phone calls to get the situation taken care of. I had a friend, a research student from the UW travel across town to pick up the found pillow. Upon arrival, she was told the pillow was not found. I kindly told the desk that I wanted to talk to the assistant manager about this situation. When speaking with her she offered to bring the pillow to my home town. A couple of hours later, she told me that the pillow was picked up last night by my friend. The front desk contacted her again even though I requested she not be contacted as her schedule is very busy. When mentioning the swim suit damage, the hotel offered nothing to solve our problem. It sure ended up being an expensive and strenous visit.
