Residence Inn by Marriott Durango, Durango

Too bad I wasn't staying in Durango longer, because this is one of the best hotels in which I've stayed. The suites were spacious yet comfortable, with huge flat screen TVs (yes, two!), and a full kitchen. My only complaint was that my pull-out bed had a busted spring which stabbed me throughout the night, but otherwise it was a great experience. Even breakfast was quite good. Friendly staff, excellent rooms, and good location make this a very VERY good choice in Durango.

Our experience with this hotel was amazing! The room was gorgeous! The beds were comfortable and firm. The setting was gorgeous. It was so nice to have a kitchen and full refridgerator. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. There was an amazing fireplace in the room. It was a great two days. I can't wait to go back!

For two of us for a three-day holiday stay, we didn't really need/want a kitchen arrangement, but it certainly adds to the spaciousness of the room. While the furnishings aren't exceptional, they are certainly acceptable and well maintained. Every staff member we met was friendly and courteous. They had a breakfast great, too, and other complimentary snack/drinks all day as well.

We loved the elevator and luggage rack to take all our luggage to our room. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was quiet and relaxing. TV worked very well. We enjoyed the breakfast so much and the Happy hours and it was so nice to have that convenience to not even have to leave the hotel to eat. The Jacuzzi and swimming pool area was very clean.

This was truly the worst service we have ever received. When we spoke to the manager about the problems he had no solution. This was not a people pleaser property. It was very hard to believe this was a Marriot Property. This was one of the cleanest rooms and the bed was unbelievable. The best nights sleep we had had in a longggg time.
