When My family and I stayed at the Days inn we had one of the worst experiences of our lives. To list the many things that made it awful: The moment we went into the hotel we hung up our garment bag and the hanger broke, the air conditioner did not work, Shower didnt drain, there was Mold in the bathroom, and exhuast fan did not work in the bathroom and many of the lights did not work, AND MANAGEMENT WAS AS RUDE AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!! we had to stay, we couldnt find another hotel room because it was too late. And when we went to pay our bill we found that we ended up having to pay for the close hanger that broke almost instantly once putting the garment bag on it, Believe me.. save yourself from a bad experience. Its not worth it
This Days Inn was hard to find but with a little patience we found it! They really need a better sign so people can find it.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable.
The coffee and juice in the morning tasted great as did the cereal and toast. We will be returning to this Days Inn when we need a place to stay in Omaha.
I could not find the motel for about 45 minutes. I could not see the sign from where you have to exit off of I-80. My room was fairly clean, but had many problems. I use to clean motel rooms when I was in college, so I notice a lot of things. The sheets were "pilly" and rough. It looked like they had installed a sprinkler system in my room, but instead of repairing the wall around it, they just screwed the sections of wall back on. There were other holes in the wall. The shower curtain had holes in it. The inside of the toilet was dirty. The water pressure was awful. The hottub was not hot and the pool had bugs floating in it. The pool area walls and floor were rusty and very dirty. There were candy wrappers everywhere. When I got home, I just wanted to take a shower. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful.
I did not like the location and the lack of clear markers to help with finding the hotel. I do not blame the hotel for the missing street sings and vauge roadways. However, I noticed other hotels had markers out to aid in navagation. Long line to check in with a kind staff. The room was neat, but the bathroom was not clean at all. The blankets smelled bad also. The free juice and coffee in the morning was gone by 9:00 a.m., oh well. I will find another place to stay when in Omaha.
