Will NOT return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/6/09
Staff was NOT friendly. Doug came across as offensive and rude. Room smelled musty, and when I told the front desk I was not happy, I think her name was Jenny or Jennifer, she looked at me like I was a hassel rather than being hospitable.

Best Hotel in the World
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/24/08
I liked everything here, except for the roaches. Great hotel, more expensive($100 per night) than the hotels I usually stay at. The hotel tries to charge you additional for things that are usually free at most hotels. So, your $100 room rate ends up costing you more like $160.

Nice, but too pricey
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/9/08
A great hotel for $100 per night plus taxes. I liked it a lot. A little pricey, but such is life when you're livin big ;) It's close to places to eat, but then every hotel in russellville is close by, as russellville is a small town. A lot of police coming to the nieghboring hotels. I'm not sure if that's a usual thing...

Nice

Good. A little bit pricey for approximately $100 per night. Quality is good, but to me a room is a room. I don't see a huge different between this hotel and some of the economy hotels and motels in the area.

Received Refund Because of Bad Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/27/07
We stayed here after having a bad experience at Best Western, however many of the imperfections of Best Westerns exist here at the Hampton Inn. The location of this hotel is certainly great because we could visit restaurants within walking distance, but the room was lacking in hygiene. Money isn't a problem for me, but I must say it was nice that the hotel gave me a full refund because of the low quality service I received. Since I received a refund, I won't make any complaints beside the fact that this hotel has low hygiene standards. I don't even want to mention what I found in the room...

Just Average

I don't mind staying here, but I feel that they rip me off with prices. Their rates are changing too much! I check in for $85 per night, then the next day the guy at the desk said that he has to charge me an extra $10 for the second night because most hotels will be full that night. I don't see how that justifies charging me more! I disputed the transaction on my credit card to teach them a lesson.

Unpleasant Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/07
I am a road warrior and constantly stay at Hampton Inns because the quality and service is always consistent- except at the Hampton Inn in Russellville. The hotel's decor is maroon and green and is very dated with big silk flower arrangements. My hotel room was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room next door had a problem with the tub and they had to put chemicals in it, and the smell leaked into my room. When entering the hotel room I was overpowered by it's dampness and pungent odor and I immediately went back to the front desk. They then remarked that the hotel was full and could not move me, and then handed me a bottle of airfreshener. The staff was friendly and tried to be understanding, however, I found that it was unacceptable that someone would be placed in that room to begin with. Also, the pillows were extremely lumpy and the hotel was loud and noisy- there were even people out in the hall drinking beer. I frequent Arkansas Tech on business, however, I will not be staying at the Hampton on my next visit.

Ridiculous
By c., 4/8/07
I had a horrible time at this place. Someone smashed the windshield of my car (I had just bought the car 1 month ago). In addition, the room wasn't clean. This motel is very overrated. I could barely sleep. People coming in and out all night. Next time, I'm going to stay at one of the motels located in a better part of town.

It's the worst hotel I've ever been to
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/7/06
A few of the housekeepers do not change the sheets in checked out rooms, they have failed their last inspection because of this, yet the housekeeper responsible for the incident was not fired. When another housekeeper was fired,(because a customer caught her not changing sheets and made a complaint) The owner wanted to keep her on the schedule regardless of what she had done. I would have to say there is only one decent housekeeper that works there. And I don't believe the weekend front desk staff to be particularly helpful, or responsible.
