The Hedges, Clinton

For my first trip to visit my daughter at Hamilton College, I chose The Hedges Bed & Breakfast for my accommodations. The owner, Barbara, couldn't have been more warm & welcoming! She gave me a lovely room with a jacuzzi in the bath and it was obvious that much thought had been given to choosing just the right amenities. The tone of the home was calm and peaceful. The decor was impeccable and the ambiance was that of friends sharing stories with friends. The room reminded me of a home I once owned in which many warm family memories had been made. My stay there at The Hedges brought those wonderful family times to mind. Interacting and exchanging ideas with other parents who were also staying there was an opportunity to put my mind at ease regarding many questions I had about campus life. I know my daughter has made many friends at Hamilton College and feels at home there. Now, I too, have very fond memories of my stay there, having felt warm, welcome and at ease. B. Zabinski Chicago
