Super 8 Brooking, Brookings

Excellent service, my family & I stayed here for the wedding of my daughter & new son-in-law. We stayed here when we came to visit my daughter while in college and received good clean rooms, great housekeeping service and the price was affordable enough that we were able to visit my daughter two or three times more than had we stayed at a fancier hotel with fancier amenities and a fancier price. We felt right at home here and were treated like family. Good value

This is my second stay here. Both times I found good, clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only real problem is the wireless. It can be slow and unreliable at times. However, the problem clears up in a few minutes. Oh, and not every room has a refrigerator and microwave.

We made reservations in advance but when we arrived at the motel we were given a smoking room and charged more than what was quoted over the phone. We moved the next day to another motel.

We were very unpleased when we called to make reservations and found out that no more then 2 small dogs or 1 large dog were allowed. What if someone is visiting Brookings for hunting season, guess that wasnt taken into consideration when they made there new rules. We have stayed here before with our 3 labs and were happy with the place until now guess we will be giving our business to someone else.

I was planning on staying at this motel for the duration of my stay in Brookings (3 months). However, after the first night I rearranged my plans. There is no private entrance for guest. Each time I had to travel through the lobby to gain access to my room. The first day I arrived back to my room to find my bed hadn't been made. When I enquired at the front deck they asked several questions and then just promised it would be made the next day! That was of no help because I wasn't staying another night! The pool is very small and the breakfast is very limited. I was charged much more than the price I was quoted. I found a different motel and I enjoy it much better!!!!! I do not plan to ever stay at the Brookings Super 8 again.

We had a great stay at the Brookings Super 8 notel! From the moment we got there the staff was very friendly! The rooms are great and very clean as well.
