Stayed here for vacation in the Grand Canyon area. Quite a place and would totally recommend to any one. Casual but upscale atmosphere.

What a place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/08/08
This B & B was a refreshing change from the standard hotel! As a planned trip with my mother who had never visited the Grand Canyon, this was a delightful place to stay. It was convenient to the Railway Station, the strudel was delicious, and the conversations with the staff were very entertaining. The stairs were narrow, but my mother was able to take her time to climb up and down them. We stayed in Big Bertha's room which had a larger bathroom with the claw footed tub. The beds were very comfortable. We spent three days in Williams and were known as the "floozies from the bordello" because we wore our red garters. We met some of the guests during breakfast. I know this place made the trip even more memorable for my mother, although she was disappointed that the "ghosts" did not appear. If you like something out of the ordinary, then I would highly recommend the Red Garter Bed & Bakery!

A Night TO REMEMER
By Glenn and Teresa B, 09/18/07
My husband and I wanted to excape the heat of Lake Havasu AZ in the summer, we hit the road and ended up in Williams! I will always remember the quaint Red Garter, we stayed in the "Best Girls Room" over looking the rails,I slept so soundly with the window opened, in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! While my poor husband was routinely awaken by what he swears was someone rattling our doorknob, and hearing footsteps on the stairs. It was'nt until the next morning we were told we were the only ones in the INN and a John was shot and killed on the staircase for not paying for services rendered!!!! LOL, can't wait to go back!!!!!! Teresa Beard

Little Gem
By Adam, 11/17/06
Williams in general is under-visited and under-appreciated as a genuine Arizona town with a real connection with the past. Route 66 memorabilia abounds, but the star for me was the Red Garter bed and breakfast. A bordello in the late 19th and early 20th century is has been lovingly restored and offers quality accommodation. The owner is more than happy to give you a potted history of the building and the town during a leisurely breakfast. My room (at the back was small, but stunning). Navajo rugs on the bed, crisp white linen and a genuine claw-foot bath all made my stay delightful. It's not the cheapest place in town, but after a few nights in boring international brand motels, it was worth every cent. I have given four for amenities, but remember it is a bed and breakfast, so don't expect someone to be at your beck and call 24/7.
