Good Place to Stay for the Money!

Only stayed at this location for 3 days. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with all of our question and needs. The bathrooms were outdated. You could tell they had a lot of touch up work done. My friend had another room with the same issue. We were told that they were going to begin remodeling this location around Sept. I would definately stay at this location again. This hotel is located in extreme north myrtle near Cherry Grove. If you don't know your way around it can be alittle difficult to get into if your traveling north on Hwy 17 because you have to make a u-turn and traffic can be very congested at this location.
 
 
 
 
 
Needs remodeling

The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. However, the room could use a much needed makeover. The whole room just looked old, dingy and smelled musty. The shower was about the size of an end table. The doors to the rooms slammed shut. So all you hear at night is people going in and out of rooms until about 2 a.m. and then it started back again around 5:15 a.m. And, our room was next to the ice machine and the back door, which also slammed shut. We were in a nonsmoking room; however, the bedspread and curtains had cigarette burns in them.

The cost was better than most of the other hotels in Myrtle Beach. I liked the spacious room on right on the beach. I did have only one problem getting into the room when they key didn't work on the first try but the front desk clerk was nice enough to come up and bring another few keys. The carpet could have been a little cleaner.. socks were not happy, but overall I give this hotel 4 stars!

Can't wait to go there again.

My family and I went several years ago when my mom earned a discount by selling magezines for the school where she taught. The service was great! The rooms are comfortable, but ours was in a top floor which was kind of scary. There's space for 4-6 or so people in the rooms. It's an excellent place to go if you just want to stay at the beach and the hotel, as shops and restaurants are in the hotel. There are polls and hot tubs inside and out.
