Glenlaurel Inn, Rockbridge

Glenlaurel is absolutely the BEST couples lodging I have ever experienced. I don't travel often so I've not a whole lot to compare it to, however, I wouldn't want to be any other place in Ohio except here when it comes to "together alone" time. We had the weeknight 5 course dinner and it was devine. The dining area seats only a handful of couples which makes it very romantic. The lodging (we stayed in a Croft) was second to none. It was very nicely decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. We were able to feel completely at peace and felt secluded from everything. Lodging in a Croft allowed us to be ourselves during Glenlaurel's self described "play time" without the worry of distracting others in the process. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone I meet who wants a short getaway from home and enjoys the outdoors as well as the quiet time indoors. P.S. We weren't treated any different than anyone else even though we were a "non-traditional" couple.
