Don't ask for refills during champagne Sunday brunch - you might get pegged as someone who "could get drunk and get waiter in trouble" (per 19 year old waiter's comments - this was 1:00 on a sunday afternoon, mind you) and be completely ignored by waitstaff. Our water wasn't refilled once the entire time we were there. We spoke with a manager only to get up to go for dessert, come back and find our table had been cleared. Try Harrah's or Horseshoe - the food is just as good and the service is much better!

They have cut back on some food items and the candy shop is gone. The top people are going to have to take cuts like the little people or they will be looking for jobs !!

The rooms are spacious and clean. THe Waterfront ranks up there with with any five star restaurant we have eaten at. The people are very friendly. I would recommend to everyone.

My husband and I stayed in a whirlpool suite for our honeymoon. BEAUTIFUL. You walk in and there's a huge bathroom with a shower and a hallway leading to the room. Huge, comfortable bed. A safe is located in the room. Lots of space. Even has two robes for you to use! LOVED it! Definitely stay here!

We spent a very enjoyable night at the Ameristar Hotel. Found the room spacious, clean and even seen the skyline of Ohama from our 4th floor window. We were very impressed with the lady who made our reservations as she remembered both our names after a two week time frame between calls. She said she made notes. JoAnn you impressed us! I've read the other comments and cannot believe they stayed in the same hotel we did. Although we didn't win a bunch of money, we found the people from the front desk to the employees working the floor to be professional and caring for our welfare and comfort. We'll stay there again and recommend it to anyone reading these comments.

it was clean but rather small space , i requested a crib in the room for my 11month old 2 times and i was not accomidated, other than that , that was my only complaint.

the people running the motel and casino are rude and dont care if you like your stay at the motel.and frankley dont care if you ever will come back or not.they must be making to much money
