Horrible experience, terrible customer service
Prepaid business trip, yet I was charged hundreds of dollars the day AFTER I checked out by 'mistake.' Why? 'We have no idea why you were charged.' 'Someone used the wrong folio.' Management was unapologetic and unhelpful until I had my bank on the line and demanded that they retract the charge. Sneering gallery hosts transferred me to voicemail, the manager didn't believe me at first, even though he could see the bill. No apology, no explanation. I told them that I would never stay there again, and had recommended to my business never to use them again, all they had to say about it was 'We're sorry you feel that way.' Well, I'm sorry Hyatt Place Norcross is such a terrible hotel and that I ever had to deal with you.
Hyatt Place IS NOT Hyatt. Hyatt Place is a glossy coating over a two-bit motel chain. The menu is unappealing and there is no delivery to rooms - plan on walking down to the Gallery to wait 15 minutes for anything freshly prepared. The phone in my room didn't work when I checked in, and I lost two messages from other members of my group in consequence. Their wireless setup only has a 24hr IP address, so you have to reregister daily - not ideal for checking your email quickly first thing in the morning. Lacksadaisical service, shoddy accounting, miserable experience. Don't go here.
