Had a great time in Vancouver, WA

Hey, I read ther reviews but this place was great. I took my honey here in February and had a great time. Went to Cinnetopia for a movie and dinner, it's only about a mile from the hotel. They have a wine bar and a theater you can have dinner in. Great Stay!!

Liked that they helped us change rooms when guest above us continued to stomp on floor after being asked for quiet. Moved us right away and were very pleasant. Rooms are nice and good location.

We stayed here back in December 2007 for one night. The staff seemed annoyed and bothered if you tried to talk to them, unless you were checking in or out they were prissy.... The rooms are repainted not remodel in any way. Slapping up wallpaper is not major either. New bedding was awesome. It was nice might go back if we had to.

Rude Manager and False Advertising

Our stay was moderately okay. The room could have been cleaner. The annoying part was that they advertise free airport shuttle and free parking-- however they do not give you a free shuttle back to your car from the airport. The front desk manager was very rude about this. I explained that this was not the deal as I understood it. She said that they explain this at check in time and when we signed up for the shuttle. They did not. And when I told her that, she ignored me. Bad customer service.

I liked this place!

Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast. I stayed in a quiet room in the back. The building was going through a major remodel, so there were guys in hardhats walking around (they were quiet and polite)and the entire facade was wrapped in plastic. When some of the new exterior was uncovered, a few employees gathered outside and cheered. Even with all the goings-on, everything was quite nice. There was even hot cider and fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. I traveled alone but felt safe and well cared for. I'll definitely be back!

This place stinks

This place was "Inn"-credibly bad. Two days in a row my wake-up call never came. Two days in a row my "Do not disturb" sign was ignored and my room was made up anyway. The second night, two workers were re-tiling the hotel kitchen and using a tile saw outside my room until 10:45pm. After I finally fell asleep, a Fast and Furious street racer did smoky burnouts in the parking lot for five minutes. There was a lot of traffic noise from Mill Plain BLVD. On the good side, the breakfast buffet was pretty good and the location is convenient. However, if you choose to ignore my experience, do yourself a favor: Ask for a room away from Mill Plain BLVD and stay away from the eggs at breakfast. I won't be going back.
