Rodeway Inn Hotel Harborcreek, Erie

Before booking this hotel online, call the office and check their rates. We booked this online and when we got there, their rate was $25.00 less than what we booked online. Needless to say we couldn't get a refund. The office was hard to find. It isn't connected to the hotel, it's in the truck stop. It's ok and serviced the purpose.

This was the last night on a weeklong trip that my friend and I took to the northeastern U.S. This was just a place to stay on our way back to Michigan. It was part of a big truck stop, and it was pretty basic. We didn't arrive here until after midnight, and we had to go into the travel center store to check into the room. That was a little strange. There were lots of truckers here, and there was a lot of noise. It didn't really disturb our sleep, but we could just hear lots of truck engines and people walking around late at night. The room was okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing special. The sink was outside of the bathroom, which is always convenient. Anyone staying at the motel is given a coupon for a free continental breakfast in the restaurant that's part of the travel center. This breakfast included a cold pastry and a cup of coffee or juice. (We ended up taking that to go.) I'll never stay here again. Too many semi trucks.
