Comfort Inn and Suites Durant, Durant

We will not stay with you again, because not only was it noise on the floor we stayed on until real late in the night, there was NO elevators and our knees are real bad and when I booked the rooms, they did not tell me that we would have to climb staris to get to our room. Would not stay there again!!

Had to go for a funeral. Our plane didn'y leave till the next day so we waited in our room till we realized that there was no water in the hotel. The front desk said that they knew about this scheduled city water problem and did'nt know how long it would be. We waited till about 4 PM and decided to find another place that had water. The front desk said that the manager (she was at home) would only take off $25 for the night that we did'nt stay. They lied and deceived us (trying to get us to stay) and charged our card anyway. They knew about this outage ahead of time and kept it a secret.

2112 Main Street is the hotel we stayed in. The reviews by others are not what I would say at all! I'm picky about cleanliness etc. We stayed at an expensive Marriott the night before in Dallas and this was equal to them. The room was clean, furniture new, bed comfortable, ammenities nice, and hotel clerk friendly and efficient. The only complaint at all is the lack of an elevator. There are only 2 floors. You have to take your luggage up the stairs which is a problem if you can climb stairs with a load. We will be staying there again for sure! $57 for AARP

New hotel located on University Place. We had a terrible stay there. We asked the front desk girl (Katie) to help us, but she could not have been ruder. We asked the general manager (Debbie) to call us, but she did not bother. BTW, this hotel is located in the middle of a nasty, run down trailer park.

This (NEW) hotel is beside the super Walmart, and also directly in front of a ghetto trailer park. It is extremley OVERpriced, and the staff is rude. There is a Hampton Inn just accross the street from it that is better priced, and they are much nicer too.

Carpet was badly stained. Gave a feeling of nastiness

The Staff was great!!! Especially a young girl at the front desk, I believe her name was katie. And ericka also, very polite girls, Helped resolve every issue that was brought to them. The breakfast was good, the hostess was sweet and made extra for a special request.. very calm quiet place, COMFORTABLE beds. All in all very nice place, I would recomend

When I arrived and checked into my room, there was only one towel in the bathroom, and on my first use, the toilet was stopped up. I headed out for business and told the guy behind the counter about the toilet. When I arrived back several hours later, toilet was still stopped up. I went down to tell the guy again, but he was busy being yelled at because some business people who were staying there were supposed to be using the conference room, but instead the managment decided to keep 2 vacationing guests dogs there while their owners went out. I couldn't find the manager because she and another female worker were in a guest room with a cleaning cart sitting outside so I just grabbed the plunger from the cart and fixed the toilet myself. Wireless internet worked in the room only intermittently, and when I called the front desk to ask them to reset their wireless (which was the problem that needed fixing), she advised that it was probably my laptop and that I needed to call a 1800 #. I asked her to reset it anyhow and she said she would but did not, and had a big fat load of attitude to go with her big fat rear end. I left the hotel for business and came back that evening hoping the problem would remedy itself, but it hadn't. So I called the 1800number where the tech support guy knew nothing about Macs and ended up telling me, "we must be having server problems." He eventually called and got the fat girl to reset the wireless router and the prob went away. Additionally: 1. No movies. 2. No elevator. 3. 2 days in a row no maid service and no new towels even though no "do not disturb" left on door. Save your money. Find somewhere else to stay. OK sucks bad enough without staying here.

Our room was not ready even though we booked in advance. So we had to drag our luggage back downstairs (no elevator) and get another room. The next room probably wasn't ready either. The bathroom floor was sticky. The first morning we had the breakfast, all was fine until I bit into the cold omlet. I watched the worker put them out so they should have been hot. The second morning my bathroom towel had holes in it like an old rag that maybe could have been used to get the sticky off the bathroom floor? There was also a bug on the wall the last night. The clerk was notified about the bathroom and towel, she said that she would report the problems. Last time that they will see us there.

My hotel room smelled like mold and mildew. I had to wash even my clean clothes upon returning due to odor. I found someone else's makeup pencil under the desk in plain sight and there were shoe prints in the bathroom so I don't believe the floors had been cleaned. I talked to the office and the second night the room seemed to be cleaner. I was given poor directions when calling to find out where the hotel was located but the guy at the desk in the evenings gave good directions to the university. The lady at the breakfast area was excellent and helpful. That and the breakfast itself were the best part of the hotel. They did not have elevators and you had to carry luggage up the stairs. The hotel did have a good location. This was the most expensive place to stay in town so I feel I did not get good value for my stay. I would not stay there again and would even consider staying in a nearby community if this is the best Durant has to offer.
