We got to the hotel, my husband was checked in by a woman. We checked out our room. and realized that when we made the reservation we accidentally selected a handicapped room. When we brought this to the male's attention at the front, he said he would switch us but would charge us more, which wouldn't have been a big deal except it was a business trip and we were staying for more than one night. So, a little irritated at this point, we went back to our room and IMMEDIATELY started hearing obnoxious yelling. Apparently, the male and female were husband and wife and were fighting in their office which was right next to our room. When we went to the counter to inform them that we could clearly hear them, he was rude again but finally said he would switch us after inspecting our room.
Also, the hotel had an awful smell! The pictures online are very misleading and I never got breakfast because it ended so early. I am an event planner and was coordinating a wedding in a completely different city. Already out of my comfort zone, this hotel did not help put me at ease. Do yourself a favor, and do not stay here. I heard better things about the Super 8 than this awful hotel!! Probably the only good thing was that it was in between a waffle house and a starbucks.
