Ameritel Inn Pocatello, Pocatello

I always try to stay at an AmeriTel. Great little hotels. New, clean, convenient, great value. No restaurants, but always near several. Good continental breakfast.

They had fantastic, couteous service. The beds are wonderful, there was a great breakfast and fabulous amenities. I reccommend this to anyone coming to Pocatello!

Regular upgrade to a spa king room for the same price was nice! 24 hr pool/exercise room and alot of choices for breakfast.

The hotel is a nice newer property with clean comfortable rooms and a very nice breakfast. However, I was not impressed by the fact that they take advantage of people when they have the opportunity. I arrived there late in the evening on July 9, just as all the Pocatello hotels were filling up with travellers off the I-15. I asked for a government rate and they told me that they can't offer it that night and charged me the full rack rate. They then stuck me into a room where the TV did not work. So AmeriTel folks, for your greed and short term gain you have lost a future guest! I hope others take my experience into consideration.
