Holiday Inn Express Orange Beach, Orange Beach

My daughter and I recently happened upon the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is a awesome location with beautiful beach frontage. Staff were all very professional, rooms nice and clean. Highly recommend, especially for the price

First of all - the staff was vey nice and helpful. Rooms clean and always had a nice smell. Very nice pool and bar (but it closed to early 8pm) great view and easy walk to the beach. Looking forward to going back.

Our five year old twins had a blast in the pool. It was so inviting with plenty of easy chairs and umbrellas if you just want to relax and read a book. There were lots of children for my out going kids to play with and that made our stay so nice. The hotel was so clean and the staff was happy to serve. The location on the beach was excellent for the kids and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach. If you go be sure to go sand crabbing at night, that was so fun. We will definately go back as often as possible.

We loved our room, third floor ,balcony overlooking pool. Great breakfast. The airconditioner worked too good, but it was nice in the hot summer. We will go back here for sure

That Place was the worst I have seen a Holiday INN for 300.00 its not worth trip and the rooms need some seriously updated, our room was terrible , closet door was broken, our tubs needed some seriously work and the room stunk like mildew . The elevators are terrible took 15 minutes to arrive on the floors, If you want to spend money on a junk motel you go a head and do so, you think 300.00 is worth it to see the ocean view and have outdated room then you haven't traveled and looked at Hotels lately. Its not worth it and made complaints about it! the staff and management of motel didn't even give a crap about you and please do not leave anything there because you will not get it back it takes 7-14 days for them to get to you, once you call and tell them you left something there, there excuse is I didn't find anything in the room they will not take the time to take care of you, the experience I had in that motel in June 2008 is the worst day of my life and it was supposed to be romantic day for me but that day was the worst day for me.Fine another motel and have someone check it out because its worth the money, stay away from this place. you have been warned and Don't be fooled by these people have stayed there!

We arrived on Thursday. The toilet wouldn't stop running, the closet door was broken, and the chairs on the patio area both had broken arms. Repairs were made on toilet; however the closet door remained broken even after they tried to do a "patch job" to fix it. Our room was not cleaned at all on Friday, and the cleaning service did not show up until after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. When they did come they did not vaccum or clean the tub. We found a bottle of suntan lotion under one of the beds and a container of Vaseline under the other bed left by previous visitors....which means it probably had not been clean before we arrived on Thursday. Not enough seating in the breakfast bar area to accommodate the number of guests. We were charged $263.00 a night for a room that I wouldn't have paid $50 for...will not go back.

The staff was wonderfull and went out of their way to help you with anything. We stayed 6 days! During our stay, our 10 year old lost his retainer for his mouth, The guy who works the bar, went "Dumpster Diving" for the bag that we thought it was in~ he way beyond the call of duty! Thanks Alan!! I give this hotel, staff, and location 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is by far the worst stay I've had at an HIE. For almost 300 dollars a night(which I see is now half of that), our room wasn't cleaned, and we had reservation issues (though I had been on the phone with the hotel twice already confirming our reservations) Our first full day in the hotel, the room wasn't cleaned at all. Our second day, the service waited until 4 pm to show up, by which time my family was finished at the beach and ready to relax in a preferably cleaned room which wasn't. This same hotel has given others I know problems in the recent past. I would have second thoughts about keeping them in the HIE family with current management. I have stayed at many HIE hotels and this one is the worst. I'm suggesting they be removed from our corporate travel providers list.

we had a beautiful view of the gulf! the hotel staff was so helpful and friendly. the pool area was nice and clean. there are alot of resteraunts and shops nearby. we will be going back very soon. i will be calling this week to make more reservations for several more trips this summer.

It was my decision to stay here, and I was pretty much pleased. Sand was everywhere in the hallways, but that's to be expected when you've been to the beach, right? I really enjoyed the pool and the actual beach. My sister and I collected pieces of sand dollars and seashells. Beware of jellyfish though! lol I recommend this place, because the people there are really nice and the view is wonderful. Plenty to do! I hope to go back soon!
