Holiday Inn Express, Muskogee

The Muskogee, OK Holiday Inn Express staff was much more concerned with charging me a penalty for bringing my dog into the hotel for 8 hours than working with me. Awful customer service. Unwilling to allow me to contact the actual manager. Unwilling to allow me to contact the owner. Manager on duty sign was not correct. Pancake maker was not working. 250$ for a pet for 8 hours. My mother checked my family into the room because we did not arrive until 2230. I approached the manager on duty, after she was finished smoking outside the building near the trash can next to the front door. She was unwilling to work with me. After speaking with her, she let me know that the policy must be enforced. Well done. I will never stay in a holiday in express again. I even mentioned that I would be willing to depart the hotel in order to not incur a 250$ fee. Next time we will go to the La Quinta. My family owns property near the hotel and we will ensure that all future business go somewhere else. As a veteran of 5 combat tours, on memorial day weekend, I simply found your hotel more concerned with 250$ than a returning customer. Well, good job. I hope that you and your staff enjoy my money. You will not get anymore from this family.

Our event cancelled 10 minutes after we checked in so the front desk offered to cancel our room without a charge. They gave us a cancellation number but when our credit card bill came Robbi Weatherford (the manager) charged us anyway. We were not there long enough to use anything!! She is the meanest person I have ever encountered and should not be working in a customer service environment. I'm telling everyone we know to never stay at a Holiday Inn Express especially this one. We called corporate and all they could do was give us a complaint # and cant do anything because the hotels are individually owned. I'd rather sleep in my car than stay at this place. Don't waste your money there!!!

Whad made reservations at this location for a 3 night stay. Do to some unknown reason the hotel management changed our reservations to 2 night stay without our knowledge. When confronted about their mistake, management attitude was very unprofessional. We were in a suit and down graded to a regular room. When ask why this was happening we were given nothing but lies. I was very upset in the way we were treated. We were not even conpensated for the mistake the hotel management had made. I feel these people owe us an apologe.
