NEVER STAY HERE

The Muskogee, OK Holiday Inn Express staff was much more concerned with charging me a penalty for bringing my dog into the hotel for 8 hours than working with me. Awful customer service. Unwilling to allow me to contact the actual manager. Unwilling to allow me to contact the owner. Manager on duty sign was not correct. Pancake maker was not working. 250$ for a pet for 8 hours. My mother checked my family into the room because we did not arrive until 2230. I approached the manager on duty, after she was finished smoking outside the building near the trash can next to the front door. She was unwilling to work with me. After speaking with her, she let me know that the policy must be enforced. Well done. I will never stay in a holiday in express again. I even mentioned that I would be willing to depart the hotel in order to not incur a 250$ fee. Next time we will go to the La Quinta. My family owns property near the hotel and we will ensure that all future business go somewhere else. As a veteran of 5 combat tours, on memorial day weekend, I simply found your hotel more concerned with 250$ than a returning customer. Well, good job. I hope that you and your staff enjoy my money. You will not get anymore from this family.
