Fulton Steamboat Inn, Strasburg

When we came the whole family was Amazed as soon as we walked in the door! A great giftshop for souveneirs and snacks! A tavern open till 9 for food 11 for beer. A great restraunt too! Everybody was really nice. They sell duck food and fish food in the gift shop. The family made two friends on our stay. Arlene- who works in the gift shop. And Helen - Who works in the restraunt. I hope i got their names right. - sorry.. Anyway! We had a great stay. Every body was really nice. We stayed in a queen / bunk nautical room. Good location too! Right next to a maze/ golf place and very close to Dutch Wonderland too. Close to the Strasburg railroad and cherry crest farm. The family had a memorable expeirience! Attention: For family with kids, the pool gets crowded around 7:30

We LOVED our stay at the Fulton Steamboat. The staff was so friendly and warm. We had been greeted warmly when we arrived. The decor is unbelievable through out. Our room was beautiful. It was a fun stay for my daughter who enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish they have on the property which also has a play area for the kids and beautiful indoor heated pool. We loved the music and sound effects that came from the "ship". Fresh lemonade and cookies had been such a surprise and treat when we walked in one day. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone. I stayed at the Boston Hyatt some months back and the room was very pricey. The service was not as good and the room not as clean. I don't care how many stars they have, this hotel is far superior! The best experience we have every had away from home! They make it look and feel like you are staying aboard a ship. It is something to see at night all lit up. The quacking bell boys (group of ducks) greeted us at the door when we arrived and was a great laugh after such a long drive!

The only downsides, first we stayed next to the pool, so the hallway smelled like pool (big deal), second the gym was hot, the a/c wasn't working. But the hotel's design, decorations, staff, was perfect. Cant wait to go back...

My husband and I spent two nights here in late Spring. The hotel was a bit shabby and the restaurant was over-priced. Also-there was a hideous smell outside the hotel. The theme may be fun for a samll child but next time I will stay at a branded chain which I trust.

Hubby and I have stayed there numerous times over the years and keep coming back. I find the front desk people very helpful and am unaccustomed to how FRIENDLY they ARE! It's so refreshing to have a warm, homey-feeling hotel. I don't know what these other people are talking about. Perhaps if a person is warm themselves, it would come back to them. I will say the rooms could stand some updating, but feel it is clean or I wouldn't stay here.

Great location, Great Service, Great rooms, Indoor pool, Great playground....... Only one thing, you will be gifted with their restoraunt discount coupon (restoraunt really good, nothing special, but food is good), but breakfast $12 wasn't really enough, we had to add $16, and $7.5 of course is not enough for dinner we added around $40 for 3 person, but, I don't consider it as a minus

the dislike, was the room smelt muggy, which the air condition could of been on right before arrival, bathroom was still dirty with mildew up under the soap holders, which you could see while laying in tub, so i cleaned the tub again before my family got in it.Wall paper was mildew also, which they could of used a little bleach to clean it. Told front desk about it. pool area , was that you could smell chorline as soon as you come out of room, thought that it was a little strong to smell it clear past the front desk. so i felt kind of unease about it.

Our last stay was a bit of a disappointment , we knew check in was at 4 pm. We arrived at 12:30pm & got into our room at 6:30pm. We waited downstairs & people that came in after us , got their rooms immediately. I hope this does not happen again. I have only used your Inn in the past 3 years. Best regards.

The service is aweful here! We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, and the rooms were never serviced. I had to get fresh towels myself! The food was expensive and the ladies at the front desk were not very helpful. My advice is to look somewhere else for your stay in Lancaster County, otherwise this place may ruin your vacation or getaway.

I really enjoyed my stay it started at the front desk with a very knowledgable, and helpful attendent. I think her name was aubry. The location was outstanding for my needs. Thank-you
