Very Cute!
By letrich, 06/15/07
It was very clean and queit,It had a very vintage feel to it. Although the room my cousin and I stayed in was alot smaller then we expected, I would most likely stay at this hotel again.

Definitely will be back

Great hotel for the cost. I will definitely be back when visiting location. You will not find a better place for the price. Breakfast and service at front desk was fabulous.

For $329 (!!!) a night you could expect a lot more
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/06
I guess they were cashing in on me because of "shopper's weekend", but charging $329 per one night in such a low-end hotel is simply outrageous! True, the location is good, the staff were nice, but the rooms are terribly small. I ordered a non-smoking room and got a smoking room instead, with a very strong and nasty smell of cigarettes, which they would not let me change. I guess $89 is ok for it, just because it's in Manhattan. But any cent above it is simply ripoff.

WOW!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
We loved thus hotel we stayed in the top floor so it was quiet. Hotel staff was very helpful.I loved this hotel it was in good condition. It was a great value. The suite we stayed in was very nice. WE stayed there for two weeks. With all of that time spent there it was totally like home. We had lots of time to go sightseeing. We would totally stay here aging!!!

Nice place!
By Cesar, 05/29/06
I had a good experience lodged at Ramada Inn East Side. The general conditions were ok. Nothing special, but clean. The room was good and neither me nor my wife had nothing to blame about the size or everything else. There was a great Brazilian Cafe close to the hotel were we had good breakfasts. And the location is amazing! Close to Empire State Building, Macy's and subway stations. We were there during the winter, which made our walking a little difficult, but during summer time you'll enjoy the walking! Finishing, we found great restaurants close to the hotel! Summing up, it was a great experience!

IT was Bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/06
It was BAD. Front desk staff is Nasty and unprofessional. We experienced broken shower on the first night and broken Air-conditioning on the second night. I tried to cancel the third night... NO ONE CARES... We went to the other hotel. I made a reservation thru NRA and planning to report to them on my bad experience

Reasonable quality given then price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/06
We stayed there for a weekend. The rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable. I don't think anyone could really expect anymore given the price we paid. One nice thing is the coffee shop connected to the hotel. Excellent coffee and snacks. Much nicer than any of the chains and definitely far superior than any free stuff hotels usually give you.

a solid value
By Matthew, 12/28/05
if you're looking for value and not a lot of frills in where you're staying, then consider the Ramada East Side. room was clean and quiet despite being right next to the elevator bank. despite the description, there is no valet parking, but hey, you're in Manhattan.
