Baywood Inn Bed & Breakfast, Los Osos

I don't know about anyone else but this by far is the best experience I have had in this area. The staff was wonderful and helpful when we asked about places to eat or visit. My wife and I have been here a total of 5 times inside of a year and each and every time was better then the last. From the staff that checks you in to the staff that cleans your room, each one was happy and helpful and catered to each guests need. The wine and cheese time at 5:00 were you got to visit with your neighbors or took the wine to your room was fantastic. The grounds were well groomed and the view from the rooms was excellent. I'm almost scared to give this glowing recommendation for fear next time we go we wont be able to get a room, and the reason for that is they have only 12 rooms at the main inn but they are expanding. This in my humble opinion is the only problem, other then that we were treated with the up most respect. i would not hesitate to tell anyone to stay here. Reasonably priced for the area and what you receive is more then fair market price. i am just so happy my wife stumbled upon the place while checking out hotels in the area.

Having been here many times, we were terribly disappointed in the lack of hospitality! We were checked in by one of the cleaning staff who was annoyed at the arrival of a guest. (We arrived at 2:15 and check-in time is 2:00 according to their web site) We were not informed about anything having to do with breakfast or the wine and cheese and the room was not cleaned very well. There were no glasses in the bathroom. We had to search for the breakfast in the morning because we were not informed about having to fill out a card! We left for the day and while we were gone, they VERY poorly cleaned the room, leaving the coffee grounds for us to clean, as well as the place needed DUSTING and again..no glasses in the bathroom! And when we checked out..yup..another member of the cleaning staff checked us out and again..she seemed annoyed at having to take our money! We have been here before and liked the place..but we are DONE with Baywood! (Don't go there!)

I have made reservations here for my bridal party and my fiance' and I to stay here. I too used their website, and had no problems. Since I am from out of that area, I headed over to visit the property this past weekend and was impressed! The manager Kyla was incredibly kind and helpful. I feel bad for the previous reviewer- he must have had interaction with someone who no longer works there? I am ecstatic about these accomodations and will post a follow-up review after the wedding.
