Gorgeous view

Clean, comfortable apartment overlooking the caldera. It was the perfect vantage point to watch sunsets from Fira. It was a great place to stay, especially considering at that time of year, not many places were open on the islands and we wanted a place where we could just relax for a week if there wasn't enough to do or if the weather didn't cooperate. The hotel is very close to many shops and restaurants, and the staff friendly and professional. I would stay there again if I were to go back.

Don't stay at the Enigma

If you have any physical disabilities, DO NOT stay at this hotel. There were 39 deep, winding, stone stairs (no railings) down to our suite (no elevator). Once you are in the apartment (sparcely furnished), there are more stairs. One of the adults in our party fell twice. Of our three-night reservation, we stayed one night, found other accomodations and lost two nights of full payment. This place is way over-priced. I would never recommend it in spite of its nice view. Stay at the Atlantis nearby. Much cleaner, nicer and beautiful views.
