Super 8 Motel - San Antonio SeaWorld/Medical Center Area, San Antonio

wanted to cry the day we got there it was so bad the carpet was very old the pool was only big enough for about 4 kids it smelt like old wet carpet the ac didnt work very well room and very small even with two beds the sink and other stuff was in the room not in the bathroom because the bathroom was so small but if you dont have alot of money for vacation it is ok i guess as long as your not going to be in the room long wouldt ever stay there again myself though

Im usually not the type to post a good or bad review, but had to on this place. I noticed some postings that are giving good reviews on this motel. That must be the owners, managers, or friends. The room had an odor to it. The room looked like someone had picked it up instead of cleaning it. The towels were dirty. When we requested for more towels(clean towels) they had hair stuck to them and one still had toothpaste on it. I noticed that they had signs about "Going Green" helping the environment. I think it's their way of say we don't do laundry. Breakfast bad. Service was unfriendly. The man working at the desk seemed like he didn't want to be bothered with anything. This Super 8 gives the others a bad name and I will spend the extra money and go to a different one next time and it will not have a Super8 name on the sign. I wasn't expecting someone to fluff my pillows and leave a mint, all I wanted was a clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom, towels, and someone at the desk that didn't seem like I was a bother. I learn from my mistakes , I hope you do the same also Super 8, I will not be there to find out if you did.

We spent the night last night at this motel. We chose it due to convenience. It is right off the highway. First off, towels are old and dingy. Second of all, I got up in the middle of the night and scratched my leg with a sharp edge on the corner of the bed. Hope it doesn't get infected!! Would also like to mention that we couldn't lock the door. The door lock was broken & so was the top of the door. Seemed as if it had been kicked in. My daughter was scared!! Last of all, I unplugged my charger this morning & I received a big surprise. There were some rather large rodent droppings. Felt disgusted, as I had just slept to that side. Would rather sleep in the truck than stay here again.

We liked everything about this motel. This motel was clean, comfortable , quiet and the most comfortable beds ever. Kids enjoyed and it is centrally located. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. This motel made us fell very special. They have upscale service with midscale pricing. It was well worth stay. We will be back. The staff mention that it is under new management and they just renovated the motel.

My family and I recently spent 5 nights in this motel....we would have left the first night if we could have got our Money refunded, but could not since we had them booked with a credit card in advance. We had 2 rooms, ones that were connected to each other. The rooms are very small, dark, and outdated. They were not clean at all. The bathroom at hold in the tub, and on the floor. The carpet had lots of stains and gum stuck in it. The towels and sheets were dingy and the comforters even had holes in them, along with some on the towels. We only had enough towels in each room for 1 person. We would ask for more towels each day, but they were always out and said they were used by the people in the pool and that they only did laundry one a day in the morning. When we did get towels, they were dingy, very worn, had holes in them, rough, and some were white, red, blue, or striped in color...no uniformity to them at all. If we walked in our socks, they would be black within minutes. The first night, we found a used condom in one of the bath tub drains!!!! The other bath tub drain plug did not work. The water for a shower was hit and miss, sometimes it was cold, and sometimes it was warm....and than those spurts of scolding hot water...ouch. Forget about a good nights sleep, the beds are horrible and well used and very springy. We kept rolling to one side of the bed every-night, no mater what we did to try and fix the rolling. The breakfast is best left alone...you would do better going to a Walmart and picking something up than eating their breakfast...yuck all the way. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and good with directions.

The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Never had a problem with anyone or anything. The kids enjoyed it and it was pretty close to Sea World. It was worth every penny!

I liked everything about this motel. The front desk was so so helpful. They were great with directions, and very friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean and they were very comfortable and quiet. I come to San Antonio every year and i will definitely come back here again. I recommend to all.

The Motel was so Clean and employees were helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Motel was so quit.We enjoyed our Stay.we will be back and will stay in same Motel.

they have the worse service, is dirty and the people that work there are rude and unprofecional. never going there again and I'll make sure my friends and family never go there...
