We missed the hardworking and fully commited guy by the name Nasir. Where is he? During our stay, he was very helpful and looks smart. Wonder where is he now? Something special about him .

great Hotel in beautiful country
By Arijana, 7/8/04
This is really great hotel with great service. Employees are very helpfull and very nice always ready to help. Hotel is very nice and very clean with great room service. Different restaurants, (European, Arabic, Japanee)with different and very tasty food. Place near the center form where you can go and visit beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur, you can enjoy in the city tour provided in hotel. Definatelly place to be visited by bussines persons and tourists as well.

we will go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/13/06
The service was good and the room was comfortable. It has a nice view of the Petronas tower/twin tower from our 36th floor hotel's room. The room was spacious. Breakfast was good. The location was not so convenient though.

Disappointing for a 5 Star
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/08
I stayed here in May, and found the room was ok, but no free wifi! The restaurant on the top floor is aimed at Westerners, but the food was of very low standard, my cup of tea wasn't even served with fresh milk! When I first arrived my room wasn't ready, I had to wait an hour. When you pay for 5 stars you expect no other standard could be higher - remove a couple of stars and drop the price, this hotel is in the wrong league.

no remorse
By Mladen, 7/21/07
I stayed using my Starwood points so I cannot speak of value. Room is clean and nice and everything that should be. I had the back view wich was dissapointing, but KL is a great city to explore so I am more interested in location rather than the views. Location is about 9/10. One could have a great night life experience barely leaving the hotel property, as there is a large alley adjacent to the hotel with dozen bars and clubs. As for the rest of the night life it is only about 15 minute walk, or one Monorail stop. The hotel is about 50 yards to the Monorail station. I would gladly stay there again.

A bit disapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/28/05
Despite the fact that the Sheraton Imperial is a five star hotel, the bathrooms are not sound proof, and in some rooms you could even smell the sewage. The side of the hotel facing the Petronas Towers is great, however, the other sides don't have much a view. The quality of the buffet isn't that great either, especially the sushi. Centrally located, the Petronas Towers and the hippest bars and clubs are within 10 minutes by cab.

wow!!
By rui, 5/18/05
i know its a five star hotel but the staff dosent behaved like that!!they're a lot more friendly and go to a great length to help me out.food is great, i get a choice either to take it on the top floor or downstairs.the best of all is the room, with a view of the famous twin tower.i feel right at home with all the luxury and do feel like a princess.wish i could get back there every year!

The staff make the hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/06
I stayed for two weeks at the Sheraton Imperial in Kuala Lumpur on a business trip in August/September 2006. I've stayed in a few hotels during my career, but until now I've never wanted to tell people I've never met about it. As you would imagine from the "official" ratings, the hotel fulfils all your expectations in style and appointment. The rooms are as you would expect, with all you need from a hotel. I count myself lucky to have had a room with a view of the Petronas Towers. What made me want to write a review though, was the people that make the place tick, the staff. The staff (and I say this about all the Malaysians I met during my trip) have a genuine smile, a genuine interest in you and your wellbeing, and a good sense of humour. I would also like to add, that should you stay in this hotel, you must eat in the Celestial Court on the 3rd floor, because it's fantastic. Don't let me down on this one!
