Stamatia, never again!! agai napa, anytime!!!

Accommodation was HORRIFIC. 5th june 2005 for 2 weeks
The air-conditioning leaked all over the floor, so the children couldn't crawl on the floor. Charlotte is 7months old and is at the stage of learning to crawl, in this room she had to go on the bad, which was unsafe. not that there was any space in the room.
The single room was the same size room as the one for us, that us being 4 people!!!!!!
the room wasn't set up when we arrive early ours of the morning. it was an ordinary twin room, they then brought in a camp bed and a cot. in order to get the beds in they had to remove two side tables and a table and two chairs!!!!! I asked at reception if there was a so called "family room" to which they responded that all the rooms in the hotel were the same. this is truly discussting, how on earth are they expected to advertise a family room if it is anything but? the only lucky thing is that we needed a cot, if the other child had needed a camp bed the it would never have squeezed in to the room.
there was only one lift, which was always broken. we were on the second floor, so with the babies and prams etc it made it somewhat difficult.
the food, was dangerously cold, including the meat. for the first week we eat there 4 times and on the second week we couldn't face it, and eat out the whole week. oh yeah and the cockroaches
the poolside was constantly slipy. as you enter the pool I feel several times.
the walking area around the pool was layed with the wrong type of tile as it was dangerously hot, so much so that my son burnt his feet. there were two types of tile one was ok and the other not, but the one that wasn't surrounded the pool and you had to step onto it to get into the pool!!
the staff turnover was high. they had new staff starting daily who often left the following day
we were told that the hotel was rented out to someone and that the family had only just got it back in winter. they had made some changes to the hotel and that what I had seen advertised in the brochure was an indication as to what the hotel was gonna be like once all t he work had been completed. this is no good to me, I paid for a holiday now, not to fund their future!!!
Agia Napa is incredibly child and pushchair friendly, the streets have all lovered pavements, and the bar allow children in. Agia Napa itself is a place for everyone!!!
