Comfort Inn Johnson City, Johnson City

This place is terrible. We found hair on the sheets and the housekeeper literally stole an item from our room. We reported it to management who didn't dispute that it happened, but said she would have to speak with the "owner/operator." We checked out and couldn't even get a call returned. This place was almost empty when we were there and now we know why.

We reserved 9 rooms for our team to stay at this hotel. Before 10pm (we arrived shortly after 10pm) they gave our rooms away (may even to the team checking in in front of us). They send an e-mail and a phone call to us at 9:57pm, that they cancelled our rooms. How are we to get that e-mail or phone call when we are on the road to the hotel? ShouldI answer my phone while driving the bus? It clearly says on the e-mail confirmation that rooms are reserved until 7am the next morning and then are charged to your credit card. Not a way to treat a Gold Card Choice Hotel customer! Lucky we found a much nicer Comfort Inn 20 miles away. Much nicer rooms, and much bigger breakfast area. Very frendly staff too!

stayed there 2 nights,was happy with everything except parking was tight ,over all nice room and clean

stayed two nights. Room were clean, staff helpful. Breakfast was fine for free breakfast, Need hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes also fan

The hotel was clean and a nice place to lay our head down. We attended for the August race weekend...Can not think of any complaints.

We checked hotels out online and it looked nice and was on our route. The room wasn't clean (not vacuumed, long cobwebs hanging from ceiling over beds, hairs & soap pc. stuck on tub, no spare toilet paper and very little left on roll, wallpaper coming off wall all around doorway). TV remote didn't work(dead batteries) and ice machine didn't work - checked 3x. My family won't stay here again.

I got a Jaquezzi room for one night for over $125.00. The room was filthy, hair in the shower, finger prints on mirror. Grape skins and dog hair on the floor. Management apologetic and gave us another room. In this room there was feces on the bottom side of the commode lid and the top of the microwave was coated with greece. I will be returning to Johnson City for a two night stay. I will not be staying at this hotel.

Our very pleasant room was equipped with a safe, microwave, refrigerator and wet bar. The bed was quite comfortable and the place was very clean. The desk staff were helpful and friendly, too. But breakfast, supposedly served until 9 a.m., was a disaster. We arrived in the breakfast area at 8:20 a.m. to find very little left to eat. There were some cold biscuits, but less than a spoonful of sausage gravy in a serving pan. The decaf coffee dispenser was empty, and there was only a trace of milk left in a pitcher for cereal. Mini-muffins, apples, one lone bagel and juice were all that were available unless you wanted to take the time to make a waffle using a waffle maker set up on the counter. We managed to scrape the gravy pan sufficiently to each get a small drizzle of gravy for our biscuits, and we used up the last bit of milk on some dry cereal. Both of us felt sorry for the half-dozen or so guests who came in behind us and left empty-handed. We were in the breakfast area for 20 minutes, and during that time no one replenished anything or even came to check on things. We were so disgusted we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast for the remainder of our stay. Had it not been for this, we'd have given high marks to this place, but our experience with their breakfast cancels those out.

This hotel was very nice and clean. Staff went out of their way to help me get situated in Johnson city. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was quiet and relaxing. Good breakfast as well.
