TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I HAD A RESERVATION BUT HAD TO CANCEL DUE TO BAD WEATHER. WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL, I WAS TOLD THAT EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THEN I GOT THE CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AND THE CHARGE WAS ON THERE FOR THE ROOM. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT IT THEY GAVE ME QUITE A RUNAROUND AND SAID THEY HAD NO RECOLLECTION OF THE CALL. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, TO GET THE MONEY REFUNDED, I HAD TO FAX THEM A COPY OF MY OUTGOING CELL PHONE CALLS TO PROVE I CALLED THEM WHEN I SAID. THEY PRACTICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR. WHEN DEALING WITH THE FRONT DESK MANAGER AND THE GENERAL MANAGER, ALL I GOT WAS ATTITUDE AND INCOMPETENCE. I WAS SHOCKED TO BE TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL FROM A MAJOR HOTEL CHAIN. I ENDED UP CALLING THE MAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER FOR ALL BEST WESTERN HOTELS AND FILED A COMPLAINT WHICH THEY SAY THEY KEEP ON FILE. AFTER READING THE OTHER REVIEWS, I SEE THIS SEEMS TO BE A PRETTY COMMON PRACTICE FOR THIS HOTEL. HOPEFULLY THE MAIN OFFICE WILL CONTACT THEM AND KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING TO OTHERS
