BUISNESS TRIP

Coming off of the Rotary is a challenge. The hotel is located in a very busy area even for off season. I was met with a positive reception at the check-in desk, and allowed to check in 1 hour early. Being on the road alot, that is a plus. Also, the hotel is nicely settled adjacent to the airport. Sound may be an issue for some. You can't be too randy while staying on the second floor as the curtains don't close, only the sheer curtains do that. There is a bonus of a small refrigerator in the TV armour. This also may be a sound issue for a lite sleeper.
The hotel itself is middle of the road. It appears to be an old converted Holiday Inn. Although a confusing layout, it was clean and somewhat modern. I wasn't pleased at all to find that my room is directly across from the elevator. Most hotels have gotten the hint and converted that room into storage, but I see that the word hasn't made it this far out to the Cape yet.
As far as location, everything is truely close buy. There are many restarants and stores (Cape Cod Mall) within just a few minutes. I am looking forward to having dinner at Cooke's Seafood just up the street. It has continually been voted #1 seafood on the Cape since the early 90s.
You won't be too disappointed if you aren't looking for a high end stay. But in my opinion, they realy need a Hampton Inn on the Cape or a new Holliday Inn Express.
