Greystone Motel, Hillsboro

I have stayed at this place many of times and it was just fine. I have never seen any roaches, and I do inspect areas each time I go. The lady and man are both very nice. Rooms are always clean. Sometimes they dont clean the bathroom but its never terrible. :)

DEF the worst hotel ive stayed in probably n my lifetime and im only 25. Rooms were horrible they smelled bad.. the beds were about as old as i am. Just horrible I have stayed in greystone about a month and a half off and on for work and id rather sleep n my damn car. The owners were very friendly and helpful but that place absoutely sucked. Wouldn recommend a bum to go sleep there. 5 years ago a woman was killed in room 132.

Stayed there last week and was happy with room. coffeemaker, refrigerator, tv and microwave all worked. Maid service EVERY day and the room WAS clean. It is an older motel and the showers are SMALL but All I needed was a bed and a bathroom so I was very happy and the price was GREAT. The wall heater did not work rite, but the manager / owner got me a portable electric heater to use as there were no more rooms and it kept my room TOASTY!! Will stay there again if up that way. Please remember it IS an older motel, but clean and bug free and quiet!! Close to everything you could need, but far enuf away to not have to listen to all the noise of the town.

Ok, this place used to be a dive. No arguments from me on that point. It has been years since I have been through town. Recently, though, I changed jobs and I float around a lot of the time, from town to town following my work. I have been in the area for a couple months now and this is the place I landed. It is very inexpensive for a weekly/monthly stay. I cannot comment on nightly, seeing as I pay up front for a minimum of a week. And yes, the place is old. But since the new owners have had it, I have seen many improvements. They are very friendly and will do whatever they can to help the visitors out. There are no bugs. The rooms are very clean. My bed appears to be fairly new. I have never ran out of hot water. All in all, this is a very friendly and clean place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my family here.

well, It was late night,so we decided to stay in this motel. We got very good room. floor, bathroom everything was clean. linen were clean. Also looking at coffee machine and getting fresh coffee in the morning my day was fantastic. I would recommend this motel to my friends.

recent experience: clean rooms, nice & friendly customer service...Very nice location which is on hwy 50...nice neighborhood...close to town.We are very glad that we stayed in this motel...we will definitely go back there to stay...

Wouldn't recommend this place to a group of dirty hunters looking for a place to sleep. If you want hot water, just call the desk. They will have it ready in about 45 minutes. Several monthly guests that like to party.

We had heard horrible things about this place, so when there was no other room available in Hillsboro during Homer's fly-in, it was our only alternative rather than drive out of town. We stayed in one of the out-buildings as opposed to the main section which may be preferable. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was completely fine if you aren't a picky fanatic. The bed linens and towels were clean. Air-conditioning was great. There was nothing wrong with our room. All we wanted was a place to sleep and shower and it served that purpose nicely.

nastiest place i have ever been.mold on mirrors,mold on every thing...used a whole can of lysol and the room was still far from clean.was afraid to go near the bed.looked like it had not been cleaned since 1960.do not go here!!!!i was just on a fishing trip and the fish smelled better than the room.by far the worst motel in ohio.
