Quaint

I was there about five years ago, with my husband and daughter. We traveled 17 hours by car to attend my son's graduation from "boot camp" for the Navy. The house was lovely and the hosts were pleasant and accomodating. The ONLY drawback was the apparent "ladybug problem". There were an unusual amount of ladybugs and many were merely carcasses. My daughter was a bit "freaked out" by them, but all in all, I wouldn't hold that against them. There were plenty of books to read and the food was great. The hosts even extended the house to my son and one of his buddies in honor of their service to the United States. Son is now a civilian again and living in San Diego, Calif. We would visit Sweet Basil Hill again if the opportunity arose.
