I will return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/10/07
I really like the location, in 30 minutes you can drive to Charleston where you will pay at least triple the price of a room at the Hamilton. However, because it's so cheap, it attracts a less than desirable tenant. Expect to see a lot of pickup trucks in the parking lot and a few individuals of questionable employment entering and leaving the rooms. The owners are nice, although a bit groggy and hard to wake up if you are checking out early in the AM. I stay there because it's close to Charleston, Summerville is beautiful and it's really inexpensive. The old cliche, "You get What you Pay For" couldn't be more apt. Hey, give it a try, what's the worse thing that could happen to you?

Kind of a dump, but cheap and near Charleston
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/06
I stayed here because it's close to Charleston. It's located in Summerville, S.C., about 20 minutes, without traffic, from Charleston. It's ok, not great, just ok, and cheap. The walls are thin, it's not super clean, and it attracts a low end guest, probably because it's the cheapest place to stay in the area. I would probably stay there again, however. Summerville is a beautiful southern town. If you are looking for a cheap place to sty for a couple of nights, I'd say go for it. Good luck! The owners are nice.
