Sea Horse Inn Beach Side, New Smyrna Beach

i love the feel of the place really captures the quaintess of the smal town and beach....i go there at least once a year on any given holiday.great price..location..awesome staff too,,,

The hotel manager was extremely approachable, friendly and helpful. His knowledge about the surrounding areas was invaluable. We loved the homey, personal atmosphere. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating. We stayed there the weekend of the 2008 Daytona 500, and it was the place to be. The inn's location is within walking distance of so many great places to eat, shop, and enjoy the beach. Extremely short walk to the oceanfront. Nice to not have to fight traffic unless we wanted to venture out further. Parking was never a problem. If you're not looking for luxury accomodations, just clean, friendly, comfortable, and a great location--this is your place!

I was a student at Bob Ross for 3 weeks in FL. By luck, I ran across the Sea Horse. I had a 3 week reservation at another hotel that was not clean nor did it feel safe. Other ladies staying at the same hotel felt the same way so we all cancled our reservations and stayed at the Sea Horse instead. The Sea Horse was very clean and had very friendly employees. The location was great. The employee who stayed at the Sea Horse made us all feel welcome and went out of her way to make sure we had every thing we needed. It was nice having some one around after office hours, who was so willing to help us all. We were all from other states, traveling alone, not knowing the area etc. This employee help us with every thing. Places to eat, where to shop, things to see and so on. We all felt very safe, and as confortable sitting on the benches in front of our rooms as we did sitting on our own porch at home. This place has got great people working for it. You can tell they love what they do. Peggy and Kathy were the ladies who work there and they left an impression that will last a life time. I will go to FL again just to stay at the Sea Horse. Some of my friends have taken their husbans back, more than once to just to stay at the See Horse. I was there in Aug 2006 and plan another trip in Aug 2007. Told my sister about the Sea Horse and she and her friends are starting to plan a trip to the Sea Horse too. Kathy and Peggy make this place special. Never have I met two nicer people in my life.
