Ramada Tampa Westshore Inn & Conference Center, Tampa

What Didn't I like about this place. Lots! When I arrived I thought this place looks very nice, but that changed once I arrive at my room. The room was dirty. The Vending Machines in the hallway never worked. The light outside my room never was on, and some of the lights in my room never worked too. All in all I didn't have a good time.

Just got back from Tampa 10/23/07. Nastiest hotel ive been to. The main lobby is great, looks like they spent alot of time and money to make it look nice. Thats where it stops though. Its like going from the Hilton then you get off the elevator and its a place that gets hourly rates. Didnt like anything about the stay. Room was dirty, pool was dirty "fitness center" was closed for renovation, not sure how you renovate a treadmill, stair stepper, and exercise bike though, because thats all that was there.

Beter than I anticipated. It is very close to the airport for a decent rate. The resturant was great, they had 28 types of Margaritas. Room was a good size. I would stay there again.

This hotel is convenient to the airport, two popular malls, and major highways. Ambiance is not the selling point. I thought the place was pretty worn out looking. However the Durango Steakhouse just off the lobby was a decently good place to eat.

I am a single business women traveling. I was extremely disappointed in the management staff and desk help. I advised them of my situation and they assinged me to a room that I had to travel through dark corridors (lights out in hall) to get to my room. The room was promised to have internet service, which it didn't. Finally, I complained enough (4 trips to the desk) about the internet that they transferred me to another room that still had no internet and did not fit my needs. The vending machines in my 5 day staff never had a soda in them. There were no resturants close to the hotel other than dining at the resturant hotel for over $20 a plate. Other than the cleaning staff who kept my room spotless, I was needless to say disappointed.

The renovated lobby and restaurant area appear promising and the service was friendly and helpful. Once you begin making your way to the room, everything changes. The elevator was filthy, it had obviously not been cleaned for several months. The walls were smudged with greasy fingerprints from the renovation workers and there was actually wadded up trash on the floor. The room itself was disgusting. The dark room smelled of mold, there were cigarette butts on the floor along with a few cockroaches that scattered as we opened the door. The bathroom floor was dirty, the toilet seat was wet...and obviously not from any cleaning products (which apparently the bathroom had not seen in some time). We set our bags on the bed and watched the dust fly. With my wife nearly in tears holding our 9 month old daughter, there was no choice...we were immediately down the street looking for a new hotel. I cancelled the rest of my reservation for a fee of $109. It was worth every penny. I have literally travelled around the world and have never seen such a disgusting room. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

The shuttle service took well over an hour to pick us up at the airport. The Hotel lobby area was very well kept, they had a lounge with specials daily and a restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel is convenient to get to from the airport. There is also a mall within walking distance. Only thing I didn't like was no coffee in the lobby, had to walk down the street to the nearest gas station.

enjoyed our stay, close to the airport. the pool is outside and not heated which is a negative for this location. Everything else was fine.

After reading several negative reviews and some that said "don't worry, give them a chance", we did. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great online price for a clean, comfortable room. VERY conveniently located in relation to Tampa Airport. It took all of 5 minutes to get to the airport! Thank you!

VERY NICE HOTEL, I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYBODY. I REALLY LIKE THE LOCATION,QUIET AREA BUT CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE SERVISE IS GREAT.
