Above Tide Inn, Ogunquit

We found the Above Tide Inn very charming from the moment we arrived. Every room has a deck with umbrella table & chairs outside the door. Nice little breakfast in the morning - great coffee and homemade by the owner coffee cake was a nice touch. Our only small problem was confusion regarding our room: we thought we had booked a room right on the water, but turns out the 3 rooms actually facing the ocean are booked well in advance. Our room was ocean-VIEW - from the deck outside the door to the room if you looked around the corner of the building! Gorgeous view, tho! We would definitely recommend it, tho. Right down the street from the busy downtown, the path for the Marginal Way right outside the door, and the beaches right over the bridge out the front door. Quiet & very charming!
