Not so nice people

My Grandmother and I made a reservation to stay at this hotel and had specified a non-smoking, double bed room. I travel for a living, so I am always really specific about that. I am terribly allergic to smoke and have asthma, so it is really important that I have a non smoking room. They called to confirm a couple of days before the trip and everything was confirmed for a non-smoking room. When we get there, the manager said we didn't have a non-smoking room. I said well, I guess we'll have to stay elsewhere. And then he said we'd have to pay for the night, even though we wouldn't be staying there. I said that wasn't going to work and magically they had a non-smoking room for the night, but not for the next night. He also said that he could move us to a King bed, non smoking room for the next night. We said that would work. Well, turns out the next day, he said he didn't have the King size bed available. I have never had such rude or poor service than at this hotel. The cleanliness was average. I have stayed at many wonderful Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past, but will definitely not be back to visit this one.
