Staybridge Suites Cherry Creek, Glendale

Upon arrival we were told we had a smoking room when we reserved a non-smoking room. We are non-smokers with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. We asked for a crib when reservations were made and asked again upon arrival. We were told it would be sent up right away....after 4 phone calls to the front desk I went down to the lobby and asked again. I was told to go drag it out of the storage room near the front door! The first night we noticed our AC wasn't operating correctly. I called the front desk and was told the maintinence man had gone home for the evening but they would send someone in the morning to fix it. We waited until 4 pm and still no one showed up. After another call to the front desk we were told someone was on their way. We had a wedding to attend and left. When we arrived after the wedding the room temp was 81 degrees! The next morning we asked to be moved but were told no rooms were available and someone would be coming to fix the AC......He showed up while we were gone shopping and and couldn't fix the unit. When he left he left our room door propped open with the safety lock!!!!!!!!!We were gone 8 hours, who knows how long he left our room open for theft!!! Thankfully Sunday night it was cool enough to be comfortable inside but the noise from the parking lot kept us up for the 3rd night in a row! We realized that it wasn't the Front Desk personel's fault our AC was on the fritz, be we did expect some compassion. We received none.
