What can I say about a Hotel that takes your money then resells your room. reservations are useless as they don't honor them even when prepaid. Our one room they did give us for seven people was dirty with trash left and not even the coffee maker had been cleaned. No one there is willing to help or take care of the guests and when we asked for our second room for the second night we had already paid for the manager told me if we wanted another room we had to pay for it.

Good value for Springhill Suites but.....

would not return. A lot of non-guests roaming the hotel, Poor parking. Great downtown location but seemed like a lot of non-guests roaming the hotel. A lot of panhandlers or whatever outside of the hotel. Forget about using the pool. Would not stay if I was an unaccompanied female.

Permanent getaway

The beds are incredible. They enfold you for a night of blissful sleep. The overall stay is enjoyable. The continental breakfast is healthy and sufficient.

Best Hotel in Town

Once we arrived at this hotel it was just beautiful. Our room faced the Chena River, so we sat with our curtain open watching to see what was going to float by. There were plenty of business men there so there were no loud late night parties. In fact I don't think I heard anyone outside of our room the whole time we were there. The only bad thing I have to say is I wish our room had 2 tv's one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I never want to see another cartoon again.

Good value for Fairbanks

The hotel is noce, but it is showing signs of wear. I go there once or twice a year and the last trip in Aug '06 the room drapes had cigarette holes all over. There were cigarette burn marks on the furniture too and this was a non-smoking room. The staff is not too friendly, but that's just people in Fairbanks and not Marriott. Good value for Fairbanks. You could do a lot worse. The hotel restaurant is very good. The location is really good too.

I wish more time to stay!

It was a very good hotel, much better than I expected. The location was good, next to a river and the entrace lobby was clean and impressive. The room was clean and confortable. The rate is good if you make reservation very early. One compaint if I have to make is that there was free coffee stand in the lobby, but there was no coffee in the dispenser.

went to college. and the prize compared to anchorage?Some natives. friendly service and prompt response to needs. Dislike: just being up there to far. Hardly any people during winter, especially from our area.

Downton Ambiance

When I arrived, i was in for a culture shock. I was astonished at how the look of the hotel blended in well with the new renovated area of dowtown. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very accomadating and friendly

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been treated well.The staff is always helpful and friendly. The hotel is well situated on the banks of the Chena river in downtown.
