Carousel Beach Inn, Fort Myers Beach

Although it was last minute, we have only ourselves to blame, But shame on the management for portraying this motel has you have.Yes, it is an understatement to say it is outdated. Our room smelled from urine, the carpet was wet in the closet and that itself has odors. There is no one available on the premises from 8:00pm until 9:00am. They do leave an emergency number for medical and ????. Our sheets had worn tears in them. And of course you do not find this out until your ready to go to bed.Blankets that were in closet, un wrapped were very worned. Walls very thin, you could hear children running away. We stayed two nites, Iput the message on the door for room service, they left us towels and nothing else. They never came in to vacuum or clean and freshen up the room. The room is dark even with four lamps, none of which had the proper bulb size. kitchen not clean to use unless you first santized it , like we did for the bathroom. Mold present on all walls of shower. No fans present in bathroom areas what so ever. They did have small windows both of which were fragile, and one the glass was broken. We will gladly give up any future reservations with Carosel Inn for all the travelers out there who did not do any foot work ahead of time.. Price was $119.00 plus tax and Holiday Inn was 129.00 plus tax. I only wish they werent sold out.,

We were there a little over 2wks.Full kitchen was wonderful.Laundry onsite helped.Grills work great.Beach is beautiful.Everyone that works here is great.We will definitly go back. Wonderful family place.

This is a great hotel. It is older so the rooms are nothing fancy, but they are very clean. The staff is very friendly and it is a quiet place where there is a lot of beach. The location is great because it is down away from the traffic, but close enough to everything.
