Nasty and unfriendly
By Paula Hayes, 10/5/11
I recently attended a event and our rooms were booked there. I decided to go a day early and was told we'd get a discount at our group rate. when I called the staff was nasty and said the had never heard of the group I was with although my group had booked about 10 rooms. The first night there was a wet substance on the bed. I switched rooms the following night and when I crawled in the bed a hair brush fell out between the sheets, other member of my group complained about the unsanitary conditions of there room. When was the last time the sheets were changed?? I doubt my group books there again.

Animal friendly, animal stinky
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/7/10
I recently stayed in this hotel, what a nightmare, the room smelled like animal waste and the carpet was animal stained. The room next door had a non stop barking dog. Young people allowed to run up and down the hall yelling. We checked out the next morning. This was hell

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was just as comfortable as home! The staff was kind and very attentive and accomodating. Breakfast was great and I felt quite safe.

Very unpleasant experience
By Old South, 7/4/09
Noisy! Noisy! Noisy! 1:30 a.m. kids running hall, slamming doors, loud talking. Security called in 3 times. Finally, peace and quiet after stating we were calling police. Being from Greenville and hearing how pleasant staying at hotel would be, we were very displeased. Room and bathroom very spacious; bed comfortable. Amenities, for example, microwave and refrigerator, nice to have for long term stay. Reception, at registering, was pleasant. No problem there!

Refused to honor reservation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/15/09
Made a confirmed reservation for connecting rooms while traveling with 2 young grandchildren. Clerk who made the reservation was astonished to see in the system upon our arrival that the only connecting room in the hotel had been given to another traveler. Reservations here mean nothing.

Comfortable and Friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/08
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful which made our stay very nice. The location is close to points of interest, although not within walking distance. The cost was a super value.

Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/08
We loved it. The people are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great, the room was clean and very quiet. We loved having our breakfast in the courtyard, what a peaceful setting, with a water fountain in the center. The building is secure, I wasn't afraid to go get ice and a few snacks. It's just a short walk to the casino's or my favorite part is the "history of the blues". Just down the street is "The Blues Bar" that is full of history, and I actually got to meet a few famous people like T Model Ford, Mississippi Slim.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/07
The service was great..everybody was super friendly...we loved the room. it was big and clean...the location left a little to be desired...it was an easy walk to the casinos..we didn't get to try the breakfast, because of early golf tee times...
