Total lack of customer service

Despite having a confirmed reservation, the desk attendant apologized that they although our reservation was in the system that they didn't have any room for us. That was it. No explanation other than Nashville was "busy" with multiple events. No arrangements for another hotel. No offer to help compensate for the inconvenience. As a member of the Marriott Rewards program, I complained. It didn't do much good. It took over a week to receive a full response from the hotel manager and all I was offered was another "sorry" and 3,000 points (a free night at the hotel requires 10,000). Apparently, customer satisfaction and service mean little here.

They listed this hotel as refurbished, but not this decade. The bathroom hadn't been touched in at least 10 years. The pait on the door was chipped, the light fixture was broken. The wall paper and carpet had been replaced but the fungus growing in the bathroom more than made up for that. The TV was bought about 1985. The bed covers were new at one time maybe 3 years ago, there look real dingy. The staff were healpful about the only bright spot. For the price 100+ for one night it should have been better, much better, avoid unless you have no other choice. HHC

Excellent Comfort

There are many economical hotel options by the Nashville airport. The Fairfield Inn is tucked away. I took a air/bed package from Yahoo and tried the Fairfield Inn, and found it to be an excellent value with really comfortable bed. I will definitely stay there again on future trips.

Stayed for one night. In town for business. A solid hotel for a business traveler. Good continental breakfast. Good service at front desk. Good location, near airport and Interstate. Easy to find.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

We stayed there for vacation on a time share. The unit was so beautiful, the decor was tastefully done, and the view was overlooking the main pool. The master suite had a whirlpool bathtub with a seperate stand up large shower, with several places to "sit down" in the shower. It had a full kitchen in it with a washer and dryer. We sat out on the balcony at night overlooking the pool. It was so serene and relaxing. The landscape was nicely kept up. The Inn was right across the street from The Grande Ole Opra, the Gaylord Hotel, and the mall....my favorite places in Nashville!! All we had to do was walk over if we wanted to. After a long year of work, you look forward to "getting away" on vacation and I must say that I have never enjoyed myself more than at this Inn. I FELT LIKE A QUEEN.....

Will stay again for comfort and convenience in Nashville

One of the nicer Fairfields where I've stayed. Wireless internet was great! Convenient location just outside of the airport. Very good, quiet night's sleep.
