Horseshoe Southern Indiana (formerly Caesars Indiana), Elizabeth

my wife and i use to visit caesars often, we live close, could take $80 to 100 a piece and spend hours playing the old slots, now that last just minutes it seems. I don't understand except that the cassino could care less if you ever come back, the slots have changed to where $800 to 1000 is what you would have bring ,and maybe stay and hour or so. some say the machines are to tight and no pay back, i do agree, for sure, it becomes boring to loose almost every visit, no one seems to have a good time unless their drinking. i give it one star

Used to win when it was Caesars but now the machines are too tight. If the machine is new they let it win for a week or two and then they tighten it. There is not even a good payback. I think they really use locals. They need to stop giving away cars and gifts and loosen the machines. There is no winning there anymore.

I love playing Slot Machines, but The machines are so tight down there its awful. I use to come every Sat. evening around 9pm and play a certain machine, this same machine wont give you anything now. Also, comps and cashback are together now, and if you take cashback then they only give you half and they keep half. Its a nice clean place. Could be enjoyable. So, Horseshoe please lossen the machines. I Love the Buffett.

8 hr. drive to get to the Horseshoe. When it was Caesars we enjoyed the casino. Machines have changed. Very disappointed. The hotel is great and the food but we go to play. Hopefully it will improve and then we can return someday.

I was very disappointed on my return some of .01 slots are now a .05 that i use to play so now i can't afford to return

This is only the 2nd casino we have ever been too. It was fun and nice but a little small and some mashines paid and some did not. Was noisy if someone hit big but was quiest at times.

The last couple times I tryed to get a room a month ahead of time it is full. When I do get in there are no towels at the pool and the croud on the boat is rude thaey stand behind you and wait untill youget up or they put there coat on the chair go somewhere else and not even playing the machinne

We have been going to Caesars since its opening. We have found the machines to be average to low in payoff and that is very frustrating. The rooms have been steadily going downhill. Our last stay was in July 2007 and our room was not at all good. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom and there were hairs in our bathtub. The beds were clean (this time) but were not the last time we were there. The front desk staff were not friendly and you couldn't find a cocktail waitress anywhere or a change person. (We were in the casino for over 6 hours). The casino, itself, was dirty and smelled bad. If it weren't for the fact that we travel back and forth from Florida to Indy we would not have stayed last July and now our mind is set.....We will not return to Caesars Indiana.

I have nothing to say that is negative. My wife and I stayed July 28 and 29 2007. What a wonderful group of employees they have there!! After reading other reviews, I was a little skeptical. Slots are not tight like I read, and the help is absolutely the best I have ever expierenced. I will return and make sure to try Legends Resturant...Its GREAT!!!

I have been to a great number of casinos in and out of the United States.This is what I would call middle ground. Nice and confortable rooms with good food.
