Surprised at the 4 star rating
Reasonably nice and convenient but definitely 3 star hotel, not 4. Wondered whether this has to do with the Rome hotel rating system. In Asia, a 4 star hotel would have tissue paper, coffee making facilities (there are no porcelain cups or spoons!), an iron, a stable Internet connection (had to return the Internet card for refund), reasonable TV reception (the picture on the tiny CRT TV was snowy and almost unviewable) and a better selection of channels (less than 7, only one in English). Only one front desk staff on duty. The staff is helpful if he is free but often pre-occupied with some admin work and you will be told to come back later! Would not be so disappointed if they are 3-starred rated.
