Comfort Suites Cordova, Cordova

Was part of a group of 30 plus........including 20 youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13. Rooms were spacious, pool and outside areas also kept neat and clean. Although I didn't use it, the exercise room was ample and also fully equipped. However, the service by front desk personnel was outstanding....especially upon arrival. INearby mall and shopping areas, plus immediate access to interstate travel into Memphis was ideal. Highly recommend staying there.....again, because of the great staff. First time staying in Comfort Suites......will do so from now on.

I do not recommend Comfort Suites, Cordova. Housekeeping could not have mistaken my bag of goodies for trash. Why is water pressure so low in the bath? I had to flush several times to ward off "jamming."

Have stayed at this hotel several times, but will not stay again. The reason is cockroaches. After being in our room a couple hours,cockroaches started coming out on the sink counter.We could not stay. Had to argue to get our money back.Desk clerk said they had been having problems with cockroaches.

Our church group included 53 people from Texas. We reserved 23 rooms at the Comfort Suites Cordova for July 28-31. Our visit to Memphis was enjoyable; however, our stay at this hotel turned into a nightmare. First, the hotel staff mixed up the method of payment. Our contract clearly stated that the rooms were to be placed on our church credit card; yet, the hotel GM wanted us to pay by check. She wrote us a letter informing us that if we paid by credit card there would be a 10% surcharge added to our final bill. During the reservation process there was never any mention of a 10% surcharge if using a credit card. What a scam! Even after paying by check the GM would not remove the pre-authorization. The carpets in the rooms are badly stained and in need of cleaning. The sink and toilet in our room drained slowly. Several of the 23 rooms smelled of a stale foul odor. Our group spent almost $5800.00 and when we asked to use the vacant hotel meeting room for two (2) hours we were told there would be an extra charge of $100.00 What gratitude for our patronage. We were told by the hotel staff that the 14 King suites reserved were guaranteed. Yeah, right! They downgraded three of the suites to regular kings and one room ended up being a double bed room. All of the rooms were supposed to have sleeper sofas ... several rooms did not. My advice is to find another hotel to stay in if you want a pleasant stay. Other than the hotel location and the friendly, professional front desk supervisor on duty when we arrived there is not much else to brag about. The GM seems not to have a clue!

I have stayed here a total of 2 times so far and plan to stay again whenever I am in the area. The hotel is nice for the price you pay. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The indoor pool, hot tub, and free HOT breakfast are an added bonus!!!!

This hotel is not managed very well. The TV did not work, the wireless internet did not work, it took forever to get anyone at the front desk to answer the phone (and when someone did, the person’s English was so poor that I had trouble understanding them), The vending machine was broken and the front desk could not even make change of a dollar. I would recommend just about any other hotel in the Memphis area over this one.
