Towne Place Suites has some favorable amenities such as the full size kitchen equip, but fails to provide a peaceful, relaxing stay. Towne Place Suites is extremely noisy Thu - Sun due to school sport teams, children's sleepovers, family reunions, etc., & all sound like a herd of out-of-contol, extremely noisy elephants running up/down hallways, slamming doors, resulting in no sleep!! These numerous groups squeeze the regular Mayo Clinic patients & IBM patrons out with elbow room only to maneuver thru the morning buffet line, & staking out a hard to find table! Parents bring their little ones to the Fitness Center & not everyone finds them as cute particularly when you want to concentrate on your workout routine in a safe & & timely manner! These same parents allow their little ones to walk barefoot on the treadmill, pull the ropes on the weight equip, & also drop them off in the fitness room unattended "to play." This lack of parental control has resulted in some mishaps with the fitness users as well as the little people. The swimming pool is another unsupervised area & the water is less than desirable!! One incident involved 3 adults who left their group of children unsupervised (diaper age to 10 yrs of age) which almost resulted in a near tragedy! I also do not think it is healthy to see the babies & (untrained toddlers) in the pool/hot tub area. I think it is a health concern/hazard to all users!! If you suffer with allergies/asthma, please check your room air-conditioner filters!! After a constant flare up of allergies & a trip to the ER with an asthma attack, I discovered that the air conditioner filters in our room were caked full of dust/debris!! The staff was pleasant, courteous but lacked consistent, knowledgeable training & this is a fault of the general manager! For every question, there is a different, incorrect answer provided by most employees of all shifts! General Management needs to address the overcrowded, noisy check-ins from Thu-Sun and provide the thorough training course for each employee!!

Our suite was like a mini-apartment and we felt so 'at home'. Clean, windows that open, fireplace, beautifully decorated, full-sized kitchen appliances, wonderful king-size bed and it was quiet. Continental breakfast was sausage links or ham, scrambled eggs, waffles, hash browns, bagels, muffins, oranges and apples, cereals, juice and coffee. I can't think of anything that we didn't like. The pool was fantastic as was the jacuzzi. Five out of five stars!!

Awesome amd loved it we will definately go back great service for great price and awesome location. Everyting from shopping to Mayo clinic is very accesible

I made a reservation for a 2 bedroom suite, but upon arrival, they had given our reservation away to someone who extended their stay. They gave us two separate rooms, but that is not what I had reserved. The free wireless was pretty well nonexistent. We were told that the rooms further from the front desk could not get a strong enough signal. The hotel will be remodeled soon - the size and layout of rooms would again attract me, if I could get a guaranteed reservation.

Dislikes: - careless and incomplete room cleaning - lack of reliable wireless internet access - broken down fitness center gear - inadequate parking for hotel guests when conference rooms in use in the evenings Likes: - full breakfast

It is on its way to become Towne Place Suites by Marriot in March of 2008. The New Gm is awesome it felt like home everybody made us feel like home. We cant wait to go back. Best place ever in Rochester. MN.
