The customer service at this hotel sucked. Arriving late into the night because of a family emergency, they would not even offer me a fruit to tide me til morning.... Then trying to get a cup of coffee at 5:30am next day, before going to my Uncle's surgery was a no go. The clerk said, 'Breakfast isn't til 7am!' Just really bad service.

I work for a company that gives this location lots of business. Late last year we had a block of rooms reserved for a training event, which I had to cancel at the last minute - but forgot to cancel the room. My fault, no question. I called back in Jan to try and get the charges reversed, Mgr indicated that the books had been closed for 2008, but that she would offer a complimentary night in 2009 - a verbal offer that I took at face value. I tried to follow up on that offer today, and today's mgr (different person) would not honor without some kind of written document - implying that I should have made sure that such a doc was obtained initially. I suggested that if that's a requirement of their process, it should have been provded to me. And frankly, they had vacancies. I'm trying to balance the goodwill to cost ratio that he would have generated by simply honoring the original committment with the badwill that was definitely generated by this decision. Marriott for me moving forward.

We are currently planning a wedding and using this hotel for out of town guests. We have had nothing but problems. Originally we were told only certain rooms were available now our guests are being offered other rooms and not part of the block. We also are told we don't have enough rooms reserved to get the discount, however our guests have booked rooms and told them they were with our group, but they weren't credited to us. The manager was making comments and one of our guests heard him while he was trying to book the room. You would think during these hard financial times the hotel would value our group and want the business, however they have done everything possible to disuade us from using their hotel.
